Ellwood City based Thought Process Enterprises (TPE) has contracted its 23rd school district to participate in its EDGEclick web advertising program.
Erie City School District notified TPE President Eric Venezie of the districts intent to have TPE solicit, sell, and manage advertising space(s) on the school district web site. Eric City Schools is the 8th largest district in the state and joins other notable participants such as Seneca Valley School District, Indiana School District, and Butler Area School District.
“With recent state budget cuts, the districts are looking for ways to offset the deficit by both cutting expenses and generating revenue. The EDGEclick program is a powerful way to supplement those cuts by generating revenue through carefully selected advertisers” Venezie said.
“More importantly, as the network of schools grows, the aggregation becomes an attractive advertising outlet for some of the larger fortune 1000 firms that could lead to larger commission revenue for all participating districts. ” he added.
Thought Process Enterprises is the largest education web advertising company in the state and has plans to become more aggressive in other neighboring states once the Pennsylvania program is well under way.
